About the Project

Transforming Urban Transit in Patna

Patna Metro is an ambitious Mass Rapid Transit System serving Patna, Bihar's capital. Phase 1 spans 30.91 km with two corridors and 24 stations — designed to ease congestion, reduce pollution, and provide fast, reliable, affordable public transport.

The project is managed by Patna Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (PMRCL), with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) as General Consultant. The priority corridor became operational in October 2025.
